Years ago, we used to get a few trick or treaters. But, as our street got darker (less people who were actually home), we have not gotten any (not even friends or family). So, I don't even bother turning on the lights outside. Instead, I'll light my halloween candles and pumpkin, turn on my lighted pumpkins my mom gave me, drink some flavored coffee and knit! The tall guy goes to the basement and I enjoy a nice night.
