Yes, there seems to be some purple going on. This is for our group project and the deal was to use a color you don't normally use. But, purple seems to be my new normal.

We are going to take the vneck pullover and turn it into a cardigan. Steeking will be involved. So far I have not yet sucessfully steeked and I am excited about doing it.

Lilac...yet another purple. But, this one I only bought one. I am going to do a swatch cap and see if I will like this in an Aran. I've been wanting to design my own Aran for sometime.

Once I decide what I want to do and if I like it in lilac then I'll order the rest for a sweater.

This is a new publication that Amy Detjen is involved in. I thought I'd take a look at it and maybe get a subscription. It is out of Wisconsin and I like home grown stuff.


And almost finally....some books.

I think that is all that I bought this past weekend, except for a cute little necklace. I've got plenty to keep me busy for awhile, don't cha think.
