It Started With An Outfit

And I knew I wanted to knit a little cotton sweater to go with it.  Enter a Knitting Pure and Simple pattern.  But, it was in a larger size than I needed.  So, I thought I would knit one on a smaller needle which I did.  But, the size came out to be around 16".  A very small newborn (which we don't have yet).

So I decided to go a bit bigger on the needle size and since I had yarn left, I figured what the heck.  And now I have two little shrugs.

 I love love this sweater with the outfit.  This baby is going to have so many sweaters she just won't know which one to wear first!
