Christmas Knitting

I know I know, Fall isn't really here yet, but I had a bright idea this last week.  But, before I can start my bright idea, I need to get a sock off of my needles.  Last year, while I was off, I knit one Christmas Sock (I only needed one to wear).

Once I finish up the second sock, I am going to cast on socks for Baby Boy B and his girlfriend.  She is a Harry Potter fan, and I bought these two yarns done in her favorite  house color ways at Stitches Midwest.

My bright idea this week was to knit a pair for each of them out of her two favorite house colors.  But, first, I need to subtly find out what size shoe she wears first.
