Montreal Day 3

On Thursday, we headed out in our knits to visit Montreal yarn shops.

Thankfully, Debbie was driving as she is super ok with in city driving.  First stop was Espace Tricot.  We were greeted right away by Naomi, one of the owners, and she and Hannah helped me pick some yarns for a pig for one of my granddaughters.

Next stop, La Maison Tricotee  X Le Plateau.  And of course, they had me at the color of the shop outside.

We bought a birthday gift for a knitting friend and we were off to the next shop.  Both the owner and her staff were so sweet and gave us suggestions for lunch.

Our final shop, but not the last stop was Les Tricoteuses Du Quartier Wool.

A very sweet knitter, who was going into the shop, saw that we were struggling, and took our picture for us.

After this stop, we tried to go to La Bobineuse, but finding parking was impossible, and after several drive arounds and parking illegally, we decided to head back to the hotel, as it was getting late in the afternoon, and we were dying for a cuppa.

Lucky us, our hotel had a Starbucks on premises, so we had our mid-afternoon beverage there, while waiting for our other Knit Wits from Peoria to arrive via air.

Also on our list for shops was Biscotte, but it was about 30 minutes away, so we will save that for another trip to Montreal.

Once our friends got checked in we headed to the 37th floor for a light dinner with the Knit Wits of Peoria, and that is where we finished our evenings the rest of the week

It was a great gathering place throughout the day as well for knitters to connect, have a beverage and enjoy some knitting time.

I am definitely taking advantage of the Concierge level from now on when doing Knitting Adventiures!
