Another Weekend

 Another hot one.

But, there is still knitting going on courtesy of the wonderful AC.

All blanket like knits, but that is what a Knitter can knit when there is some nice AC.

Hope you are keeping cool!

It Was A Hot Weekend!

 But, I spent it with the coolest kid.

It started with T-Ball, then a day of playing with cars and a long nap.

It ended with breakfast on the porch!

And memories of shopping in Destin.

It was the bestest weekend!

Finally Finished Friday

Vertices Unite Number 2 for the Unite KAL I am sponsoring through the end of July.

This one I decided needed to be in brights and my colors

I love love love it.

But, this is going to be my last one.

Musselburgh Number 8 out of Artistic Yarn by Abi's color way Monopoly.

Each one of these hats I knit is so much fun, and yes, there will be more.  They are my versions of the avid sock knitter!

Today is the first day of Summer and I could tell by the way the sun was shining my knitting room, that we've got a change in the season.  And in typical Central IL weather, its going to be above 90 for the for 

seeable  future! 

But, that won't stop me from knitting at all!

Watching the animals come back to the water hole, while casting on a new sweater.

And then giving it a nice bath.

Having some Sangria on the porch and finishing up Musselburgh Number 8

And now full circle back to the ongoing Half and Half Triangle Wrap, while having some coffee.

And thinking about Fathers and Fathers Day.

The Dancers!

 As a mother of sons, and at the time I went to high school, if you were on the college track, you had to take gym, no dance classes, soooo, I am over the moon that both of my granddaughters are doing dance and that I got to attend their Saturday night recital and get to stay to see all 47 dances!

Aren't they beautiful young ladies!

Finally Finished Friday

 The Clover Tee by le Knit, Lene Holmes Samsoe is one of the Makers Meetup KALs Kendra and I are doing, and mine is done.

The yoke was an easy knit and then the rest was all stockinette.

I knit mine out of the same yarn the designer used, Sandnes Garn Line, in Aqua.
