Where Is The Time Going

In just two short weeks, we will be getting ready to head to the Makers Meetup in Hoffman Estates for a weekend of knitting with 100 of our closest friends!!

And in the meantime, I've been celebrating grands birthdays.

Knitting on a graduation gift

Startiing something new to knit on at the meetup, hopefully

Watching a thunderstorm come through with some much needed rain

Heat and sun came through today, while I pulled weeds early, ran errands, did laundry, sprayed stuff on weeds that didn't get pulled....

And now, I'm going to do some knitting!

Can't Get Enough Of Knitting These

Musselburgh #7 is for me and part of an ensemble for a trip I am taking later this year.

It's Gift Yarn from my knitting adventure partner, Debbie.

The yarn is Emma's yarn Hella Hank, and I am getting so much mileage out of the large skeins!!
I have a cowl already knit out of it, and now my hat.  Still enough for some mitts!

Now, # 9 is on the needles!  This one will truly be the seat partner in my car for some trips and appointments.  It isn't for anyone in particular, but I thought I needed a more masculine color for my charity pile of hats.  This one is Malabrigo Sock in the Pocion colorway.

I'm doing a quick Saturday trip and this will be my project since I do't think I have to drive...lots of knitting time!
