I Really Dislike Seaming

I know there are varying opinions on whether to seam a garment or not.  My preference is to not.  I have blogged before about how much I like top down or bottom up, to the point that even if it is in pieces, I will rework the pattern to make seaming at a minimum.

Unfortunately, the latest sweater for Mona Lisa had to be seamed due to the flares in the construction.  It took me a good five nights to sew all of the pieces together, including a hood that I have discarded.

Something that I learned while sewing this one up was is that maybe I might need some more practice.
I'll probably get it, with my Knit and Fit project that I cast on last weekend.  But, it may be a while, it's on fine yarn as well.
